The route is approximately 75 minutes leaving Devizes then heading through Horton, Alton Barnes, Pewsey, over the Burbage roundabout, then East Grafton, Oxenwood, Weyhill, Abbotts Ann finally a short burst on the A343 and we are there.
The return journey we trace our steps back and maybe stop at Honeystreet Cafe for a brew time permitting
Eligible riders:
• Tutors
• Full members
• Associates, i.e. members undergoing training
• Guests - Any legal rider may be invited as a guest, by an attendee, but ONLY with the prior agreement of the ride leader i.e. ride leader not put on the spot on the day.
What you need to do in advance of joining the ride:
- Full tank of fuel
- Ensure you are familiar with the drop off system, if you are not, please ask.
- Check that your bike is safe and Legal
- Be ready to enjoy!
Now that we’re well into autumn, we need to be mindful that this is a social event—and as such, if poor weather conditions prevail, we may decide to cancel the ride at relatively short notice.
I’ll post an update on the forum if this becomes necessary. If you’re ever unsure, please don’t hesitate to text or WhatsApp the ride leader, which in this instance is Paul 07825 326446
