I know there have been numerous ride outs that have in the past included riding through or over the New Forest to places such as Sammy Millers. It might be worth considering in any pre-ride planning or brief to consider what is expected in the event of an incident involving an animal.
One useful source of information is the facebook group new forest roads awareness and I have asked them for a digital copy of their card. The following is copied from their page.

Sadly animal deaths are all too common, many happen at night, but not all. The Police have regular speed van and patrol cars at the hot spots.
